"It's a Fake Result" - JAMB Disown Viral Cross River Candidate’s 394 UTME Score

"It's a Fake Result" - JAMB Disown Viral Cross River Candidate’s 394 UTME Score

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has again dismissed a viral result slip circulating online claiming a candidate recorded one of the highest scores in the 2026 UTME, describing it as fake and misleading.

In a statement shared via its spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board said the document did not originate from its system and was generated using a fabricated template. It stressed that UTME results are strictly “view-only” and not issued in printed or downloadable slip formats.

JAMB also pointed out that the registration number and other details on the trending document do not match its official system structure, noting that such inconsistencies clearly expose the result as fake.

The Board urged the public to disregard the fake result and rely only on its verified communication channels for authentic updates on examination outcomes.
