Teesas Learning Centres has maintained an impressive record in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), achieving a success rate of over 90 per cent for the third consecutive year, far above the national average pass rate of approximately 25 per cent recorded in recent years.

Speaking on the institution’s sustained performance, the Learning Centre Growth Manager at Teesas Education, Mrs. Gladys Osime, attributed the achievement to strong collaboration between the organisation and its partner schools.
She explained that Teesas works alongside schools rather than replacing them, building on the academic foundations already established by institutions such as Whitesands School, Lagoon School, and Trinity International College.
Osime highlighted the organisation’s Watch-Teach-Assess (WTA) model as a key factor behind students’ success. The model integrates instructional video content, teacher-led classroom sessions, and continuous assessments to enhance learning outcomes.
She said students first engage with video lessons to stimulate interest and activate prior knowledge before participating in detailed classroom instruction and assessment exercises designed to reinforce understanding and improve retention.
According to her, the WTA methodology is deployed across all examination preparation programmes offered by Teesas Education.
Teesas currently operates four learning centres across Nigeria, with three located in Lagos and one in Owerri, providing academic support to students preparing for major national examinations.
