Studying and taking extra classes in other to adequately prepare for the exam is important, but being able to answer all questions within the stipulated time is of utmost concern. There are numerous EXAM TIPS AND TRICKS you can apply to help you attempt all questions within the given two hours but the one that seems to top the list is the JAMB 8 SHORTCUT KEYS.

To answer JAMB questions you can either use a mouse or use the shortcut keys, but using a mouse requires you to move the cursor around the screen to the area you want to select to pass a command to the system. This can take some seconds, but with the JAMB eight keys, all you have to do is press a key and it sends the command right away.

The JAMB SHORTCUT KEYS are 8 keyboard commands that a JAMB PC is programmed to recognize and obey, such that when pressed the programmed commands are executed. The keys are the keyboard shortcuts in number (8), which are A, B, C, D, P, N, S, and R.

Key A: This is a key that is used to select option A as your answer of the four options available for each question.

Key B: The same thing applies to this key. Press B to select option B as your answer to a question.

Key C: This command works in the same way as the key A and key B. Pressing C means choosing option C as your answer to the question.

Key D: This key works in the same way as keys A, B and C. Means you choose D as the answer to the question.

In a case where you select any of the above keys and would like to change your answer to a different option, all you have to do to press the key to the option you would like to change to and the program selects that as your answer to the question.

Key N: This key is used to proceed to the next question.

Key P: This key takes you to the previous question.

Key S: This key is used to send the submit command after you have attempted all the questions.

Key R: This key means reverse. If you press the S command (submit command) by mistake, and you haven’t attempted all the questions available, you can press R and you will be taken back to the questions.
