Only candidates in their final year of Junior Secondary School Education i.e. (JSS 3) are eligible for registration. For the avoidance of doubt, the 2024 BECE is meant for only school-based candidates in Nigeria and overseas.

Number of subjects you can register in BECE

The maximum number of subjects you can register is just 10 subjects. Your school will direct you on how to go about it but have it in mind that you must pass 6 subjects out of these 10 subjects.

How to Register for Junior WAEC

Schools (centres) are to register their candidates using the offline application before login in.

Here are the fees:

• Register- 10,875.00 Naira (Mandatory fee)
• Late Registration- 5,000.00 Naira per candidate (Mandatory fee)
• Re-Sit Exam- 3,750.00 Naira per subject per candidate
• Non-validation- 10,000.00 Naira per candidate

A – Distinction

B – Upper Credit

C – Lower Credit

P – Pass
