If you have been successfully offered admission to the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG) JUPEB programme in the 2024/2024 academic session. In that case, we are pleased to inform you that you can now start preparing for the school JUPEB screening exercise. 

The screening process i what will finalize your admission, and as such, candidates must put in their best to ensure that they scale through it successfully.

However, the UNILAG JUPEB Screening is scheduled to begin from Wednesday, October 2, 2024, to Friday, October 4, 2024. Candidates involved should continue reading this article to get more details about the 2024 UNILAG JUPEB Screening exercise.

In this article, you will get to know the required documents, date, time, venue, and how to participate in the University of Lagos JUPEB screening exercise, alongside some vital information about the said programme in the school.

UNILAG JUPEB Screening Details

DATE:

UNILAG JUPEB screening will take place from Wednesday, October 2, 2024, to Friday, October 4, 2024.

VENUE:

The screening exercise will be held at the Multipurpose Hall

TIME:

8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

NOTE: Before you proceed to the screening, ensure your name is on the UNILAG JUPEB Admission List.

How to Participate in the UNILAG JUPEB Screening Exercise

To participate in the screening, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the UNILAG Student Portal.
2. Use your Application Number as your Username and your Surname in lowercase as your Password.
3. Update your Biodata Form. Make sure your name matches your Birth Certificate, NIN, and O’Level Statement of Result.
4. Print out the Biodata Form.

If you are a staff member’s child or a retired member of staff from UNILAG or LUTH, you must visit the HRMD Office at the Senate House to update your details.

Revert to the portal after updating the information, and print out the updated Biodata Form.

Steps to Complete Before the Screening

• Print your Provisional Admission Letter from the portal.
• Read and accept the conditions outlined in the Acceptance Letter.
• Generate the Pay Advice to make the payment of N28,500 for your Acceptance Fee and ID Card Fee.
• Once payment is made, print and sign your Letter of Acceptance

Documents Required for the Screening Exercise

Candidates should ensure to bring these documents with them on the screening day

• NIN Slip
• Offer of Admission Letter
• Signed Acceptance Letter and Evidence of Payment
• Birth Certificate
• Testimonial from your secondary school
• O’Level Result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Reference Letter from a Clergy, Imam, Lawyer, or Senior Public Servant

Ensure you bring original copies and two photocopies of each document.

Payment of Tuition Fees

After the screening, return to the student portal to generate the Pay Advice for your tuition fees.

You must pay at least 50% of the Total Tuition Fee before lectures commence.

UNILAG Important Dates

• Screening Exercise: October 2 to October 4, 2024
• Lectures Begin: Monday, October 7, 2024
• Orientation Programme: Thursday, October 17, 2024

All admitted students must attend the Orientation Programme.
