2. The official NECO result checker link
3. Your Examination year
4. Examination type
5. Your examination registration number
6. Your NECO result checker Token

An Active data connection

This is one of the very first basics you need if you wish to check your results online. You need an active data connection.

This is what will access the next step of the online result-checking process.

An active data connection is needed in whichever gadget you are using to check the result.

The official NECO result checker link

This is the second thing you need if you wish to check your results online. Of Course, you cannot just cause the portal without having the official link. It is quite unfortunate that most people go through the wrong channels and end up extorting a huge amount of money from them.

The official link for checking the results of the National Examination Council (NECO) is https://neco.gov.ng/results

Your Examination Year

Every candidate has their unique examination year. This is according to the year of your examination. For example, if you registered for NECO in 2017 and wrote the examination in 2017. Then your examination year is 2017.

Examination Type

The National Examination Council does not offer one type of examination. They administer different examinations to their candidates. As such, you have to specify the type of examination for which you wish to check the result.

It is worth noting that the following examinations are being administered by the council

1. Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination
2. Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
3. National Common Entrance Examination

In the case of the type of examination, you need to choose the senior secondary school certificate examination.

Your Examination Registration Number

This is a unique number assigned to each applicant who has successfully registered for the examination.

This registration number also serves as an identification number. This is the most important number you need, as it will be used to check your examination results. You have to note that if you are a candidate and you missed your registration number, even if it’s one digit, you have successfully bought a token to check another person's result.

Even if you do not miss it, but input the token incorrectly, it might result in error issues.

As such, you have to be very careful.

Your NECO Result Checker Token

This is a five-card usage product of the National Examination Council. This card contains a token in the form of a number that is being sold to candidates to help them check their NECO results once the results are released.

You have to note that this token can only be used online. This token is usually purchased online, and here we will talk about the very steps you can use to purchase the token online.

Also, it is worth noting that after a token is used five times to check the same result, you cannot use another token to check the result. You will have to use the E result verification portal to verify or confirm the result.
