FUTO POST UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form 2024: Hurray! Did you score 150 and above in your UTME, and your school of preference was the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)? If yes, then we have good news for you.

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form has been released for the 2024/2025 academic session, and applications are currently being accepted from students who made FUTO their first choice of institution. However, if FUTO wasn't your first choice, you can hurry now to the JAMB portal to make an amendment and then come back to proceed with your FUTO UTME/DE registration.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for the FUTO Post UTME/DE?

To be considered eligible for FUTAO POST UTME 2024, candidates must:

•⁠ ⁠Have chosen FUT) as their first choice institution in the 2024 UTME
•⁠ ⁠Score a minimum of 150, 170, or 200 respectively in the 2024 UTME, depending on the course
•⁠ ⁠Possess a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

NOTE: Candidates who did not initially choose FUTO but scored at least 150 can also apply by changing their first choice institution to FUTO on the JAMB CAPS

The FUTO Post UTME screening form is valued at a fair amount of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only, which is payable at any bank on e-Tranzact platform only.

How will the FUTO Screening Process be?

The screening will be based on verified JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB results uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Important Notices to Candidates

Ensure your details on JAMB CAPS match the Post-UTME application portal.
Use a valid mobile number and e-mail address.
Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS by 16 September 2024.
Only candidates who successfully submit applications online will be considered.

For Direct Entry Candidates

Ensure academic transcripts reach the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, by 16 September 2024.
Failure to submit transcripts will result in disqualification.

How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Screening Form and Payment Instruction

For a successful application, follow these steps:

Visit the FUTO website - https://futo.edu.ng/ and click on “Prospective Students” then “Undergraduate”. OR use this direct link to access the FUTO Post-UTME/DE application portal.
Click on “Generate invoice”.
Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Payment Invoice with the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
Pay the N2,000.00 processing fee at any bank or using an ATM card.
Return to the FUTO Post-UTME/DE Application portal.
Click on “Application Form”.
Provide your JAMB Registration number in the required space and log in.
Complete the form correctly.
Confirm and submit your application.
Print the acknowledgment slip, and await further communication from the University.

When is the Registration deadline for FUTO Post UTME Screening Form in 2024/2025

On the 16th day of September 2024, according to the official publication made on the school website, the registration portal for the FUTO 2024/2025 registration process will come to an end.
