UNILAG ANNOUNCES DATE FOR 2023/2024 POST-UTME

The University of Lagos popularly known as UNILAG announced the commencement of the online registration for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all courses and programs. This was disclosed by the Registrar and secretary to the council of the University Mr. Ismaila Oladejo Azeez in a statement released on Monday, 3^rd July 2023. The online registration is slated to commence on Monday 10^th to Friday 28^th of July 2023 while the Post-UTME online aptitude test will hold from Monday, 31st of July to Friday, 4th of August, 2023.

In his statement, the Registrar mentioned that the eligibility of a candidate depends on if the University of Lagos was selected as their first choice in the 2023/2024 JAMB UTME and if they had a score of 200 or above. He also added that candidates who obtained five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, with the results uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before Sunday, August 13 will be considered for admission. HOW TO APPLY FOR THE POST-UTME

Do note that the Post-UTME screening exercise carries a registration fee of ₦2,000. Eligible candidates should visit the University of Lagos website and take the following steps:

• Click on Admissions
• Click on Post-UTME Application
• Login with UTME number as username and surname in lowercase as password
• Generate and print payment advice
• Proceed to any commercial bank to make the payment or pay online
• Return to the University portal to complete the screening form
• Print Post-UTME Examination Pass

It is important to note that candidates under the age of sixteen (16) as of 31st October 2023 and candidates who fail to participate in the UNILAG Post-UTME Screening will not be considered for admission. The University has zero tolerance for drug abuse, therefor it shall withdraw the admission of newly admitted students who test positive for drug use whenever the University conducts the test, either before or after registration.
