The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Segun Aina, has pledged to make improved customer service a major priority of his administration.
Aina made this known during his first official visit to some of JAMB’s outstation offices, where he met with members of staff, assessed their operations and listened to some of the challenges affecting their work.
The Registrar thanked the staff for the reception accorded him and encouraged them to remain adaptable and resilient as the demands of public service continue to evolve.
He said JAMB would continue to introduce deliberate measures, innovative approaches and appropriate technology to improve the quality of services provided to candidates.
Aina also stressed that effective customer service was central to the operations of the examination and admissions body.
He assured staff that the management would provide the necessary tools, training and institutional support required to enable them perform their duties effectively.

“We must all come together to build trust and reduce trauma,” Aina said.
He explained that every encounter between JAMB officials and candidates could influence public perception of the Board, urging staff to remain courteous, responsive and focused on finding solutions to candidates’ concerns.
