The JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB) has released its official cut-off mark for admission for the 2023/2024 academic session. This was made known to the public by the Registrar Prof Ishaq Oloyede, after the board’s policy meeting with vice-chancellors of Nigerian universities.
The policy meeting was held in Abuja on Saturday, June 24th, 2023 with the board concluding the minimum cut-off marks for institutions as follows;
You can visit the official JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng for more details.
The cut-off mark being set at a minimum of 140 is an indication that no university in Nigeria is expected to accept a JAMB score below the 140 benchmarks but is allowed to decide individual cut-off marks for their candidates above the 140 cut-off mark. This means that different institutions could have varying cut-off marks for their various courses. For more info on this, you can read our article on CUT-OFF MARKS FOR INSTITUTIONS through the link www.examguide.com/forums/discussion/topic/967956530137
Candidates are advised to confirm the cut-off mark of their course of study in their institution of interest before sitting for the POST-UTME to avoid being denied admission due to low JAMB score. This can be done by paying a visit to the institution or contacting them through their official websites and helplines.
